So here's my plan.
I'm going to keep borrowing my grandfather's camera and learn to use it. I'm going to do shoots with people I know (aka - my cousins, my sister, my sister's friends, etc.) for free while I'm still learning. And no, I'm not going to take a photography class. That costs money I don't have. I'm going to keep saving my money until I can afford to buy my own camera.
The issue with using my grandfather's camera is that it isn't mine. I can't keep it at my house. I can't bring it to school with me. I can't use it whenever I want to. Which is why I'm eventually going to get my own.
Anyways.
I'm majoring in Early Childhood Education. I'm going to be a kindergarten teacher someday. And hopefully by that time, I'll have my own camera. I'll have someplace I can take pictures. I'm thinking that when I have my own house, I'm going to dedicate one room to being my studio. And I'll take pictures.of people, like portraits and things like that. And I'll give a discount to my students' parents. So I'll have extra income coming in because, face it, a teacher's salary isn't great.
But that's my plan right now. Will it change in time? Most likely. But as of right now, that's what I'm thinking.
