Why show ads?

If you read my main blog or watch my youtube videos, you've probably seenadvertisements on the side of the page (on the blog) and on my videos. There will be ads on this page as well. Why? Because:

I am trying to earn a little extra spending money using Google's AdSense program. By the rules of the program, I am NOT aloud to ask people to click on the ads. So, please know that I'm not asking you to click on the advertisements. I'm not asking you to click them, but I'm not telling you not to click them. If you're interested in something that gets advertised on here, feel free to click itif you want to. It's your decision as to if you want to click it or not. I'm just telling you why I have them up in the first place.

Now, I'm a college student. By their very nature, college students tend to not have much extra spending money. I happen to be like the majority of college students - completely broke about 95% of the time.

I know some people who chose not to use the AdSense program because 1) they feel it's not worth it because of how long it takes for some people to earn money through this, and 2) they don't want to annoy their readers/viewers with advertisements.  I understand both of those reasons.  BUT.  No matter how long it takes, it's still worth it to do something I love doing (making videos) and be able to make money (even if it's only a small amount) doing it.  I feel like it is worth it.  And as for annoying my readers/viewers with advertisements... I'm sorry if you don't like the ads, but I'm not taking them down.  On my blogs, I chose to only show advertisements on the sidebar instead of on the sidebar AND under each post, and on my videos I only use the advertisements that go up over the bottom of the video (the ones you can close out of!) and not the ones that play before the video.  So I did keep my viewers/readers in mind when I chose which styles of advertisements could be shown on my pages, and I hope they don't annoy you guys too much.  I hope you can understand why I have the ads.

Right now, I am really into photography.  It's my current obsession (hence the blog title!).  Those of you who know me might know that I have a new "obsession" just about every month.  You might be remembering the guitar I bought at the beginning of the summer... But hey, I do still play it!  I just get frustrated at the mistakes I make but don't know how to fix.  Once I'm back with people who know how to play and who can help me, I feel like I'll be playing it more.  ANYWAY.  Photography.  If you know me, you know I rarely leave the house without my camera.  I love taking pictures, and I take pictures of everything.  My camera is a Panasonic Lumix.  Don't get me wrong, I love my camera.  It's a great camera.  But I really do want to get something better.  Something I can take more professional looking pictures with.

This is what I am saving for right now. That is the main reason, right now, as to why I've chosen to have advertisements shown on my pages.
